Over the past three decades, the people of Jammu and Kashmir are waiting for the day on which their demands of Self-determination, Equality, and Freedom of Living will be fulfilled. Since the 1980s, violence is rising so much that it is now becoming a serious issue between both Pakistan and India.

There are several attempts made by the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir conflict but the main problems then converted into political instabilities and thus the process of coping stuck many times.

According to diplomatic and geographic experts, the issue of Disputed Kashmir can only be resolved through the process of dialog between India and Pakistan. Recently, the newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan sent a letter of peace dialog to Indian Prime Minister but the Indian PM rejected the peace dialog process by saying that India will never hold talks on the matter of Kashmir. Kashmir is an Integral Part of India and will remain part of India.

On the other hand, the United Nations recognizes the land of Kashmir as disputed territory. The Kashmir region is mostly divided into two Parts. One is under the Control of Pakistan which is now known as (Azad Kashmir) and other is under the Administration of India.
